Abandoned Treehouse

Here lived a lot of boys, boys who grew up to become something. Within these walls were comic books, water balloons, smuggled cookies and leftover pie slices, all laid out and shared equally, all for the common cause of escape from the rigorous demands of boyhood. Secrets were told, and sometimes kept, fists were swung, dreams were shared. Here was a place where you could be yourself and unapologetically so. Many were the truths learned about the world and the people in it up in these branches, as even though it were a place for boys, it was the crucible in which men were slowly forged over time and pressure.
