There exists in a heart only one truly great passion at a time. This explains the particularly high divorce rate among enthusiasts of building tiny ships in glass bottles, the relatively low number of professional athletes that are gifted bassoon players, and the generally disgusting nature of professional chess players. No scientific reason exists to explain this phenomenon, especially when considering the general human tendency away from the once-popular monogamy youth culture movements. Rest assured, this is a completely natural response with a completely natural explanation: they simply love something more than your company.
