Fly Napoleon

Take a deep breath today. Fill your lungs with the cold December air, from outside mind you, and have a look around. Depending on where you are, you may want to hurry back inside, lest you be smothered by the bleak dead whiteness all around you. Or you may be looking up at the sun and the blue skies and think how quickly you must act upon the day before it vanishes. Or if you’re in the southern hemisphere, then the air isn’t cold at all, and maybe you might go for a swim later today. But the point is that the day is here, it’s now, and it has no pressures to put upon you. It doesn’t care if you finish everything, or if you spend all day watching TV. It’s just going to be here, then it will be gone, and another day will follow closely behind. So stress not – though time may be fleeting, life is not a race or a mission, it is simply something to have, do with it as thou may.
