Let’s stop and think for a moment. I don’t care about what, maybe even just consider the last time you stopped to think. Now you’re doing it. So, that’s a start. Now just do it more. Either longer this one time, or in short bursts throughout your day, but take time to take stock, visually, mentally, take in where you are, how you got there, where you’re going. Life is more than a series of choices and motion to get between them, and it takes a keen eye to simply open and think about the mystery of being. It can be sobering, exhausting, even terrifying to think of the bits of your body working in tandem to keep you you, and then you begin to feel them moving one by one, some through conscious effort, others simply automatic. It can make the skin crawl, make you revulse at your very self, or it can give you extreme peace to be grateful for that which makes you alive. And don’t be afraid to fart.

Ah hah, Misha (pronounced: Meesha), you’re getting close!
P.D. Ouspensky, Russian mystic and one-time student of Gurdjieff, suggested that, as we go about our day, we just stop occasionally and say to ourselves, “I am here”; then keep that in you mind and look around and observe.
You’d be surprised the affect this has on your perspective. And with practice, on your sense of being. 🙂

And I must add, re your post’s ending – LOL
