Waterline

This week has proved to be a challenging one for me. Deadlines, planning snafus and fiascoes, and then to add the whipped topping and nuts, both(2, out of 2, as in all, seriously how) of my computers died. I’m currently putting this together on the Wonderful Ladyfriend(tm)’s tablet, along with other things, and I have been granted access to my roommate’s desktop as well, which is fortuitous because he also is out of town for the weekend. I’m just kind of taken aback (and set back) by that awful stretch of timing, and it really couldn’t be worse. The only reason I’m functioning at all and not suffocating into a brown paper lunch bag is because of the support of the people around me and the availability of their electronics. I’m trying to take it as a sign, the phoenix dying and igniting itself yet again. How does that even work? Birds are weird. I don’t know. And frankly, I don’t have time to know. I have to take a weekend that was already focused on pushing forward with new ideas and new projects and go into full on super-overdrive now. Oh, and I also have two weeks to get my sleep in order.
