I woke up in the evening yesterday, determined to mark the end of this sleep cycle, and hopefully the shift into something a little more permanent. Instead, I went to sleep like 5 hours later, and slept for another good 4 or 5. I’m up when I want. Things are happening. Things are being done. But I have no idea what comes after tonight. Will I be ready to climb back into bed by noon? Will I make it to the evening and then be ready to snooze? Will I be up all day for basically taking yesterday to sleep? I can’t really worry about it too much, and I am yawning even as I write this, but all I can do is take the times I’m awake and turn them into days (unlike yesterday). The calendar will say one thing, the clock another, but in the long run it’s not the number of days that really matter, it’s the amount accomplished, I suppose.
