I’ve put on some weight in the past few years, that’s undeniable. So I’ve been trying to set aside a little bit of time every so often to get back into DDR, which has been fun. I’m nowhere near as fit as I used to be, but most of the skills are still there after some coaxing. It was a struggle for a couple months, and I’m still far from peak performance, but I can get through most of the songs if I need to, and even get through plenty of nonstops and oni courses, including ones I felt I had no business even attempting. I still feel pretty fat and I know that’s because a couple hours a week isn’t going to add up to much, but hopefully as time goes on I’ll be able to dedicate more of my time and energy to it and get back down closer to a good weight. That’s the plan, anyways!
